Tana Toraja

Toraja Tribe  inhabit the mountains  and maintaining a distinctive lifestyle and still show the original Austronesian lifestyle and culture similar to Nias. This area is one tourist attraction in South Sulawesi. 
The majority religion in Toraja is partly Catholic Christian, Islamic and Aluk To dolo, what it Aluk To dolo? Aluk to dolo is animism that is still embraced by the Toraja people until now.
1. Tongkonan Pallawa
Pallawa is a tribal house Tana Toraja, which is built with bamboo structure then the arch-shaped roof like a boat


 2. Londa, Lemo, and Looks Allo
a place where you can see a cemetery on the rocky walls and caves filled with coffins and human remains. 


 3. Batu Tumonga
Batu Tumonga are menhir as many as 56 pieces in a circle and inside the circle there are 4 trees.
Because still adhere to customs Tana Toraja, Toraja society has always held a traditional ceremony as Rambu Solo (funeral), Rambu Tuka (wedding ceremony), and Mangarara Tongkonan (inauguration of the family home).
